you can view the full-size Flash sketch for team one's latest progress for ... ... our visual translation from textual input ... version 5 is based on the feedback we received in class last week ... team one went back to version 4, implemented design + interaction direction from our usability feedback + brand new design thinking and systems logics sessions to build a new, more modular + layered noir genre interpretation for desire > interrupt > collide ... see what you think ... we'll be primping + preening noirScape further following more internal team reviews + heuristics, any feedback + ideas, of course, are appreciated + welcome
some key questions that came up while running through the Flash prototyping for version 5 of noirScape once again returned to the systems logic ... interesting ideas that percolated due to this simple exploration that could drastically improve the text to visual translation engine we're working on our group established some new rules surrounding the textual input side of the equation, but it was very apparent to me that as certain visuals come into the noirScape it would make the flow more varied + interesting to place some rules around images entering the collage ... for instance, during tense moments, or imagery that imply tension at least, it would make a lot of sense to have one main image quickly trigger 2 or 3 follow-up elements to blend into the piece ... rules could include elments of timing ... perhaps after a predetermined expanse of time, a major interrupt occurs no matter what happens ( if this, in fact, the main storyline our noirScape should follow ... i am guessing that eventually we'll be pushing our simultaneous systems toward some more universal translation engine suite, but this is just my imaginations right-clicking on the missing links there ;] )
that's that for now ... just a few more thoughts to put 'out there' fer now ... enjoy ... stay warm, safe + happy t'night, aight?
nice!
