Profile Information

About Me:
I trained in art and landscape architecture and utilize the observation of nature and culture as my central focus. My work involves research, scientific collaboration and examination, documentation, analysis and synthesis using art, science and technology for environmental advocacy. Works have included Requiem for a Drowning Landscape, Anadromous Awakening, Vanishing Landscapes and Endangered Species and Fish Tales of the Last Generation. Writings have been published in Leonardo 42-2-2009 Vanishing Landscapes: The Atlantic Salt Marsh and in the UK in 2010.
Why do you want to join the Boston Cyberarts network?
I have been involved in three Boston CyberArts projects over the years. I am about to install an exhibition and site installation at the Audubon at Wellfleet Bay. The works will include Requiem, Landscape Mosaics and Fish Tales. Many of the works use the computer, video projections and relate to how we see and experience nature as well as to the loss of nature. I wish to be included in the roster of artists for Boston Cyberarts 2010. Vanishing Landscapes and Endangered Species: Cape Cod, Audubon at Wellfleet Bay Sanctuary, March 1- May 31, 2010.
