Join us for the next festival: April 22 - May 8, 2011

Dear artists and friends,

Recently we're invited to EVA 2010, Electronic Visualization and the Arts, held in London in July.
The organization has asked us to give a Demo of our project Land of Illusion, which unveils a series of social issues and reinterprets cultural traditions of China with virtual world art.
EVA 2010 features significant speakers, such as Alan Read, Oliver Grau, Peter Cochrane, among others whose contributions are widely recognized and extremely inspiring to our creativity. As independent artists from China, we are eager to engage the global dialog highlighting digital art. However, the organization can only cover about 1/5 of our total cost for attending the conference, the rest has to be taken care by ourselves. Can anyone advice on the possible source of funds for this kind? Any information and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Looks like I'm replying pretty late, but you should look into the Asian Cultural Council, Mira's List, and Fractured Atlas for future funding & travel needs. This is now my hobby. Good luck and all my best!

Thanks Allison. It's very much appreciated. Yes, we'll take a close look at those funds. BTW, our presentation at EVA London went well (via video demo and skype). Getting funded for the next year will be extremely helpful.

warm regards,

Lily & Honglei
Congratulations, that's great to hear. I like your work and I'm sure you'll find the right funding for next year.

Best,
Allison
exactly what we're looking for, thanks!
