As a second installation of the now legendary ‘American Cheese: an introspection’, this second installment of ‘cyberSurreality’ ... ‘Provocative Objects’ ... aims to bring together an immersive show of cross-disciplinary works that ‘blur the line’ on many levels. David Tamés and I will co-curate the one-night exhibit-event by taking over The Doran Gallery. We are currently still soliciting calls for more work, looking for pieces that instigate the viewer-participant-gallerygoer and leave the audience wondering. Physical traditional art objects — dynamic prototypes — video, performative and conceptual work — we’re looking to collect an eclectic body of work to provoke viewer-participant exploration, thought, discussion and interaction. There will be a vaguely-defined ‘stageSpace’ for certain event-related ‘performances’ throughout the evening as well as numerous ‘objects’ or installations.
