Join us for the next festival: April 22 - May 8, 2011

Hey All!

Carmin Karasic and I are looking for an appropriate venue for our 'Human^n' - Interactive Kaleidoscope project for the BCA 2009 Festival.

Due to the current financial crisis it turns out to be quite hard to get some funding / venue for this kind of exhibit...

Any suggestions?

Happy Holidaze!

Peace,

Rolf

P.S. all details about the project @ CAGE

Hey Lily / Honglei,

Thanks for the suggestion and for offering a space!
We will give it a thought.

There is already an online version of it (however not in 2nd life) but the flesh space version is imho more interesting.

Peace,

Rolf

Rolf,

Not sure if we can help, but he Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation is always looking for new and innovative programs to offer the public. Tell me a little more about your program, we may be available to assist you.

Hey Elln!

Thanks for your post.

We just got the final "YES!" from the Museum of Science, Boston!!!
Human^n will be shown at the MoS from April 17th till September 8th 2009 as a part of the Boston Cyberarts Festival 2009.

We, of course, are still looking for more venues to show the piece.

You can find all info about the project on the human^n website:

Peace,
Rolf

We've been collaborating with local galleries for our events - with some venues, you can pledge to populate the gallery with a bunch of enthusiastic people, and cover all incidental expenses (wine, etc), and in return the gallery may provide you the space rent-free (everybody wins - you get a space, and the gallery gets a lot of really good PR). Check out space 242 in the South End - it's pretty large, you may be able to work something out with them. There's a few large places around you could use. It may require some extra work to fill a place with enough guests, but it's well worth it for everyone involved.

I'd be interested in talking about running some sort of collaborative event with your piece - we run monthly creative networking events, and are always looking for some cool people to work with.

We're having an event at Boston Sculptor's Gallery on April 10th - anyone can message me if you're interested in coming. We'll also be having an event during the Cyberarts festival at Axiom in JP, date TBD.

Hey Matt,

Thanks for your suggestions.

We found a place for our piece 'human^n': the Museum of Science!
Show will run from April 17th - September 8th.

But we are always interested in collaborations!

We'll definitely check out your piece at Axiom.
