Event Description
The cyber-event features 杨熙瑛，李宏磊Lily & Honglei's virtual installation, Land of Illusion, consisting of digital multimedia components reflecting on Chinese folklore, including traditional music and folk-tales.
Differentiating from the purely aesthetic, self-expressionistic approach in contemporary artworks, Land of Illusion emphasizes illustrating, researching and developing traditional motifs in eastern culture, and conveying cultural messages in forms of reading and audiovisual works, that audiences can experience and interact with in an immersive virtual environment.
The exhibition is taking place at China Cafe (founded by American Library Association), on Second Life Info Island International (23, 198, 31), October 3-10.
